Mark: What are your goals, as teacher, artist, and writer? Are they the same, similar, or different?
Tim: Gee...I'm the most clear on the teaching. I hope my students build for themselves a good life, a life in which they find pleasure in their creative work. I'm convinced this will make them loving partners, wonderful parents, and valuable members of their communities. Sure, that's simplistic, but I chose to not underestimate the radiating value of an active curiosity.
